Spring / Summer 2021
The Isle of Gigha will re-open to visitors in line with current Scottish Government Coronavirus guidance.

A television programme is being filmed on the Isle of Gigha from 14th - 31st May. Therefore, please note there will be increased road traffic and limited access to some locations during this period. Please consider this before planning your trip to Gigha. Thank you for your understanding.

Responsible Visitors
  • Please pick up and remove all dog waste and dispose of responsibly. Always keep your dog in sight and under control, especially in farmed areas where livestock is nearby.
  • Please use bins provided or take your litter home with you. Do not leave any scrap foods as this could be harmful to some animals. Do not use beach cleaning bins for anything other than marine litter.
  • Be kind to nature; leave the outdoors the way you found it and help protect our natural spaces.
Toilets
  • There are public toilets situated next to theferry slip.
  • There are toilets near the Walled Gardens inAchamore Gardens with entry by donation.
Road Users
  • The roads on Gigha are narrow single-track road with few passing places. There are limited places for large vehicles, such as motorhomes, to park and turn.
  • You should not park in front of farm gates, access points, residential homes, or locations that will damage our verges.
  • Please remember to drive slowly on Gigha and respectother road users. We advise no more than 20mph when passing the village and when approaching corners.
