With a beautiful hotel, self-catering cottages and many B&B options to choose from, Gigha offers the perfect getaway from it all break.  Since the community buyout in 2002 the island has gone from strength to strength with a growing population that is sustainably developing its local economy.  Come and see us soon!

Gigha Photography Competition 2009

Results

There was a high number of entrants for last years competition and some very good photographs that captured Gigha really well. Below are the top three, the winner receiving a stay at the Gigha Hotel. This years competiton opens on 1st March 2010 - see the news section for more details.

The winner was this lovely image of a typical Gigha sunset - capturing the colours and peace and quiet of our stunning lsland. Well done Mr Stewart Beattie.

Runner up was our very own Susan Allan with a lovely Rhododenrum in full bloom. Full name from anyone?

And third place goes to Gill Donaldson for this lovely view over towards Jonnys Shore.
